Statement from our Founder, CEO and Executive Chairman

Forty years on, EXFO is embedding sustainability into the way we run the business—supported by clearer governance, stronger data, and a single framework that guides action across the company. With a sharper focus on our core Test & Measurement business, our 2026–2028 plan concentrates on what moves the needle most: climate and energy, product lifecycle and supply chain, information security and privacy, ethics and governance, and people development. The goal is simple: integrate sustainability into everyday decisions and report progress with clarity, so our impact endures. 

Our Priorities

Over the next two years, we are concentrating on areas where execution will deliver measurable progress.

Environmental Impact

We are reducing operational emissions (Scopes 1–2) and expanding renewable electricity across sites, enhancing measurement and management of key Scope 3 categories, and centralizing production while streamlining logistics to lower distribution-related emissions.

Social Impact

We are enhancing the employee experience through learning, health and wellbeing programs, and inclusive practices, improving HR data and processes across regions, and deepening local community impact through structured engagement and volunteering.

Governance

We are strengthening information security, data privacy, and product security controls, reinforcing ethics, anti-corruption, and compliance practices, and formalizing risk governance with clearer structures, ownership, and oversight.
